Bed and Breakfast: Activities and Photos

aerial photo of cabins

Life in the North Fork Valley is never dull. On a daily basis we will see hummingbirds, moose, bears, eagles, owls, rivers, and mountains. We love our little piece of Glacier National Park, and hope these pictures help you have an idea of what living at our Bed and Breakfast is like.

Near by lakes and rivers are great for boating with canoes, rafts, kayaks, and more.

Activities

The Way Less Traveled Bed and Breakfast is located just 17 miles north of the Polebridge entrance to Glacier National Park, where you can visit the pristine and uncrowded Kintla and Bowman Lakes. Boating, hiking and fishing (no license required), as well as access to the GNP trail system, are all available at these lakes. We are also just a short drive north of the Camas Road entrance to Apgar in the heart of Glacier National Park. Mountain biking, hiking in the Whitefish Range, fishing, bird watching, critter viewing, and photo opportunities of wildlife and nature at its best are all just outside our front door. Wintertime activities include snow shoeing, cross country skiing, photography, and relaxing by the fire with gourmet cocoa or fresh ground coffee. A predator/prey seminar presented by Glacier Institute is held here each February.
